AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Corp., Syracuse, New York, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $41,651,752 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contract action to procure, deliver, and install Gap Filler Radar. Contractor will provide two long range radars, and three upgrades to existing long range radars, and integrate new and upgraded radar into the overall command, control and communications system. Work will be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, and is expected to be complete by April 30, 2018. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to Jordan. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8730-17-C-0005).
Thales Defense & Security Inc., Clarksburg, Maryland, has been awarded a $14,057,654 modification (P00003) to previously awarded contract FA8730-15-C-0015 for three additional Deployable Instrument Landing System (D-ILS) production representative units as part of a risk reduction effort. Contractor will provide deployable glideslopes, deployable localizers and the containers for the electrical gear. The D-ILS will provide the Air Force an equivalent of a fixed based instrument landing system capability at tactical airfields, and at airfields where permanent D-ILS capability has been disrupted by events such as natural disaster or humanitarian relief efforts. Work will be performed at Clarksburg, Maryland, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 17, 2019. Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $12,857,487 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity.
CORRECTION: The contract announced on Oct. 6, 2016 to Valdez International Corp. for $33,273,654 had an inaccurate contract number and award date. The correct contract number is FA8773-17-C-0002 and the contract award date is Oct. 12, 2016. All other information is correct.
ARMY
Canadian Commercial Corp., Ottawa, Canada, was awarded a $14,170,676 modification (P00007) to W911N2-15-D-0002 contract to provide RG-31 program of record engineering change package parts supporting the Medium Mine Protective Vehicle, type two, and RG-31 legacy family of vehicles. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 30, 2017. Army Contracting Command, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
Nibor Enterprises Inc., Miami Beach, Florida, was awarded an $11,470,618 modification (P0003) to foreign military sales contract (Israel) W912GB-15-D-0024 for projects 13372, 13416, and 13493. Work will be performed in Israel, with an estimated completion date of April 26, 2018. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe, is the contracting activity.
NAVY
Analysis Modeling and Programming Sciences Inc.,* Poway, California, is being awarded a $35,708,232 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to perform engineering stress analysis and design modification on aircraft repairs in support of the F/A-18 weapon system platform. Stress analysis includes structures engineering stress analysis, structures design, solid modeling and advanced composite design and analysis. Work will be performed at the Fleet Readiness Center South West, North Island, California, and is expected to be completed in October 2021. Fiscal 2016 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $2,904,321 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via a request for proposals; two offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting activity (N68936-17-D-0005).
