General Officer Assignments

The chief of staff, Army announces the following assignments:

Brig. Gen. (Promotable) Terrence J. McKenrick, commanding general, Brigade Modernization Command, Army Capabilities Integration Center, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Bliss, Texas, to deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Central/Third U.S. Army, Kuwait. 

Brig. Gen. Timothy J. McAteer, deputy commanding general (Maneuver), 3d Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia, to deputy director, plans and programs, U.S. Africa Command, Germany. 

Brig. Gen. John B. Richardson IV, deputy director for operations, National Joint Operations Intelligence Center, Operations Team Four, J-3, Joint Staff, Washington, District of Columbia, to deputy commanding general, 3d Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia.
