Flag Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Navy Rear Adm. James W. Crawford III, for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as judge advocate general of the Navy, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia. Crawford is currently serving as deputy judge advocate general of the Navy, and commander, Naval Legal Service Command, Washington, District of Columbia.
